Equipments

The team needs a paddling or rowing vessel or vessels in which everyone can be on the water at the same time, like a packraft with a repair kit. Everyone must wear a life jacket while on water. The terrain is dense and can be difficult to pass through, so in the 36-hour series, the team should be prepared for emptying and refilling the raft.

The organizer provides weatherproof maps and an answer sheet. Additionally, the team receives control point descriptions from the organizer. A personal waterproof map case is highly recommended. The organizer also provides safety pins for attaching the competition bib number.

Mandatory equipments for the team:

  • Paddling or rowing vessel or vessels and repair kit for it
  • Life jacket for each member
  • First aid supplies, such as bandages and sports tape for wounds and blisters

  • Lamps that will last for six hours
  • A fine-tipped weatherproof markers for writing down control point answers
